I bought a copy of “Build to Run” when I heard Dr. Matthew Silver on the Trail Runner Nation Podcast. When the book arrived, I eagerly flipped through it then it got set in a pile of books I’ve been planning to get to. With the recent disappointment of DNFing Bighorn for a third time, I’ve picked it up with renewed enthusiasm. I’m still in the early stages, but I enjoy Silver’s simple and direct writing style, and I’m finding the early drills easy to embrace and practice.
